The Snyder track team won two events in yesterday’s Bernards Invitational in Bernardsville.
Junior Zamir Thomas set the tone for the Tigers, winning the 200 Meter Dash with a time of 21.47 seconds. He was also the front leg of Snyder’s winning 4x100 Meter Relay team. The quartet of Thomas, Rashawn Taylor, Timoy Malcolm and Dwight Andrews won the event with a time of 43.92 seconds. Read More

BAYONNE – As the number two starting pitcher on the County Prep staff, sophomore Victoria Pessolano hadn’t been asked to take the ball in pressure situations.
Head coach Meave Connelly gave Pessolano her first real test in the circle and she proved up to the challenge. Pessolano struck out 12 batters in a complete-game performance to lift the Hurricanes past division rival Memorial 10-2 yesterday at Bayonne Park.

SECAUCUS - Yesterday's second stage of the Patriot Invitational was certainly a memorable one for the Dickinson boys track team. The Rams took home three first place finishes in the seven events for the boys.
