The Cougars unloaded for eight runs in the third inning and never looked back in a victory over Memorial yesterday in Jersey City.

Batia Krinsky and Natalia Estremera (two RBI) scored three runs apiece for McNair (18-4). Sarah Kreutz and Dayana Harris each had two hits, two runs and two RBI in the victory.

Estremera struck out nine over five innings to pick up her 12th win of the season. She allowed five runs (three earned) on one hit and seven walks. Kreutz pitched the final two innings.

Karla Calderon was 2-for-4 with two RBI to pace the visiting Tigers (8-5). Diamela Garcia and Erica Sotamba scored two runs apiece in defeat.
