The seedings for the Hudson County Softball Tournament were announced yesterday with Hoboken earning the top seed.
Thanks to a senior-laden lineup led by Sybil Lynch, Samantha Maldonado and freshman Naomi Olacio along with the pitching of Jayla Vega, the Red Wings have rolled to a 14-2 record on the season. Hoboken also earned the No. 1 seed in the Hudson County Tournament in 2010.
North Bergen is the second seed behind the pitching of junior Jessica Feria and a young, but dangerous lineup headlined by shortstop Nerylix Cerda and catcher Kayla Muniz. McNair is seeded third, followed by Kearny.
