NJSIAA: Melendez lifts McNair
McNair's Jessica Melendez scored three times yesterday against Fort Lee.

Jessica Melendez scored three times as the fourth-seeded Cougars rolled into the second round of the NJSIAA North 2, Group II tournament yesterday in Jersey City.
George Hilmer and Brianna Miller had a goal and an assist apiece for the Cougars (13-5). Brittany Miller made seven saves in net as McNair will host the winner of Lyndhurst and Lodi in the next round.
Yaomi Lopez scored the lone goal for 13th-seeded Fort Lee.
