Secaucus 58, Garfield 51
Julia McClure had a double-double as the Patriots overcame a deficit after three quarters to remain unbeaten last night in Garfield.
McClure, a freshman, led all scorers with 23 points, adding 11 rebounds and five steals in the victory. Andie Lennon racked up 15 points for Secaucus (3-0) with six rebounds and six assists. Danielle Roesing and Ariana Simon added eight and seven points respectively. Roesing, a junior, also had six rebounds and hit a pair of 3-pointers.
Ariana Gomez paced the Boilermakers (2-2) with 21 points in defeat. Shauntierah Douglas scored 18 points and Eilany Manzueta added 10 points.
