The 2009 high school football season in Hudson County is in the books and while this season ended without anyone taking home a state championship, there were no shortage of memorable moments.

Below are the memembers of Hudson County Varsity's First Annual All-County Team.

All-County Offense
QB
Raphael Ortiz

Impreveduto

Joe Impreveduto, Senior, Secaucus

A physical runner, the end zone became Impreveduto's second home as he scored a county-best 28 touchdowns. Impreveduto rushed for 1,529 yards on the season, 392 of them (and four touchdowns) in playoff victories over Weequahic and Becton. He also had 81 tackles on defense.

RB

Montanez

Dominick Montanez, Junior, Union City

One of the fastest backs in Hudson County, Montanez was a true home run threat for the Soaring Eagles. The junior rushed for 1,192 yards, averaged nine yards a carry and scored eight touchdowns. Against Dickinson, Montanez needed just 12 carries to get 205 yards and a pair of scores.

RB
Tyron Stevens

Tyron Stevens, Junior, Lincoln

Injuries limited Stevens to just eight games, but when healthy, the junior could carry his offense on his shoulders. The 5-foot-10, 190-pound back, powered his way 14 touchdowns. He had five multi-touchdown games, the biggest coming in a 241-yard, two score performance against St. Anthony.

WR

Whether it was as a quarterback, receiver, returner or cornerback, few were more lethal with the ball in his hands. Butler intercepted seven passes, returning two for touchdowns and accumulating 237 yards. Butler added 471 yards and five scores as a receiver. He also threw for two touchdowns.

WR
Corey Davis

A running back a year ago, Davis excelled at his new position, hauling in 35 passes for 547 yards and eight touchdowns for Prep. A true two-way player, the 5-foot-9 senior is a physical cornerback. He made pivotal interceptions in each victory over Bergen Catholic.

TE

Innis

Kevin Innis, Senior, St. Peter's Prep

Innis was a true two-way standout for the Marauders. At tight end he was a strong blocker for a Prep team that averaged 39 points per game on offense. But Innis' biggest impact may have come at linebacker where the co-captain recorded 73 tackles, the second most for the Non-Public, Group IV finalist.

The Bruins experienced a bounce-back season in 2009, thanks in part to this 5-foot-8, 225-pound senior guard. He helped pave the way for one of the best running duos in the area in Peter Ramanand and Carlos Mateo. Beltre was an All-NJTCC Division 4 selection at this position.
