Victor Narvaez had 42 assists as the Blue Tide overcame a one-game deficit to defeat Kearny 21-25, 25-16, 25-8 yesterday in Harrison.
Carlos Gutierrez had 15 kills and five digs for Harrison (10-4). Matthew Muchowski and Varinder Singh added 11 kills apiece. Muchowski, a senior, also had 22 service points and four aces. Lucas Nogueira and Luann Oliveira added 11 and eight digs respectively and Tijani Rezki notched five kills and five digs.
Lucio Costa had 28 digs to anchor the defense for the Kardinals (6-9). Konrad Balakier added 18 digs and Alberth Jimenez had 15 digs with eight kills. John Lemos had 10 kills and Kevin Ortiz added 26 assists.
