Roundup: Harrison sweeps Garfield
Matt Surmacz had five kills, five digs and two blocks for Harrison.
Senior Matt Surmacz had five kills, five digs and two blocks as the Blue Tide swept Garfield 25-18, 25-12 yesterday in Harrison.
Ricky Touzet had a team-high seven kills for Harrison (15-6), five digs and two aces. Rahim Douelfakar added four kills, four blocks, three digs and a pair of aces. Chris Osiecki chipped in with three aces, three kills and a trio of digs. Victor Narvaez contributed 16 assists in the victory.
Fillipe Fraga led Garfield (13-9) with six kills and three blocks.
