Roundup: Bees even score with UC
Rafal Kierznowski's 11 kills and six blocks were both match-highs for the Bees.
Richie Boyle had nine kills, seven digs, four aces and three blocks as the Bees knocked off Union City 25-14, 19-25, 25-23 yesterday in Bayonne.
Kris Kucza added nine kills and for digs as Bayonne (12-5) avenged an earlier loss to the Soaring Eagles (9-6) from April 14.
Rafal Kierznowski had eight kills and six blocks. Khaled Abdelaal and Arthur Kosakowski added four kills and three digs apiece. Kosakowski also racked up eight blocks and Konrad Budny chipped in with 23 assists, four digs and three blocks.
Adam Sanchez paced Union City with seven kills and seven blocks. Senior Nathan Joubert added seven kills and five blocks. Flavio Martinez tallied six kills, five digs and three blocks.
Jesus Amaro added five kills and five blocks in defeat. Michael Morris and Andres Martinez tacked on 15 and eight assists respectively. Alexander Vargas recorded 13 digs.
