Roundup: Bees hold off Garfield
Sophomore Konrad Budny's 21 assists and four aces paced Bayonne.
Sophomore Konrad Budny had 21 assists, 14 service points and four aces to lead the Bees to a 26-24, 26-24 victory over Garfield yesterday in Bayonne.
Rafal Kierznowski added six kills and four blocks for Bayonne (11-5). Richie Boyle and Kris Kucza added nine and six kills respectively. Jeric Pimentel chipped in with five digs.
Fillipe Fraga led the Boilermakers (8-5) with nine kills. John Salcedo added 13 assists in defeat.
