Roundup: Bees tame Tigers in three
Rafal Kierznowski's 11 kills and six blocks were both match-highs for the Bees.
Rafal Kierznowski led all players with 11 kills and six blocks as the Bees held off Memorial 25-10, 16-25, 25-15 yesterday in Bayonne. Kierznowski also had 10 service points and three aces.
Richie Boyle and Kris Kucza added eight kills and two blocks apiece for Bayonne (10-5). Kucza also had four digs. Konrad Budny added 21 assists and three blocks, while Arthur Kosakowski chipped in with four kills and a trio of blocks. Jeric Pimentel anchored the defense with 10 digs.
Jonathon Carpio led the way for the Tigers (1-9) with nine kills and two blocks. Mike Acosta had a three kills and a trio of blocks. Asal Salah and Inolis Santana added five and three digs respectively.
