Roundup: Bees hold off Blue Tide
Richie Boyle had 15 kills and eight service points to lead Bayonne.
Senior Richie Boyle had 15 kills, eight service points and two blocks to help propel the Bees past Harrison 22-25, 25-23, 25-19 in a three-game thriller yesterday in Bayonne.
Sophomore Konrad Budny had a staggering 31 assists and 18 service points for Bayonne (7-4). Rafal Kierznowski added eight kills, eight service points and three blocks in the victory.
Chris Osiecki led the way for the Blue Tide (8-3) with 12 digs and 10 kills. Ricky Touzet had 10 digs and eight kills while junior Rahim Douelfakar added eight kills of his own. Matt Surmacz chipped in with eight digs and five kills and Victor Narvaez had 24 assists in defeat.
