Roundup: Bees hold off Memorial
Bayonne's Khaled Abdelaal had 13 service points in a win over Memorial.
Matt Strzala had six blocks as the Bees overcame a one-game deficit to knock off Memorial 19-25, 25-20, 25-20 yesterday in West New York.
Kris Kucza had 14 service points and eight kills for Bayonne (4-3) in the win and Khaled Abdelaal added 13 service points of his own. Richie Boyle tacked on seven kills and three blocks, while Konrad Budny dished out 15 assists. Arthur Kosakowski had three blocks.
Michael Acosta was a force for the Tigers (0-4), picking up 12 blocks and seven kills in defeat. Jonathan Carpio had eight kills and Alexander Carpio had three kills and three blocks. Martin Rodriguez chipped in with 18 assists and Asal Salah added 12 service points and six digs.
