Union City blanked in semis
Senior goalie Jesus Amaro made 17 saves in net for Union City.

The Soaring Eagles saw their season come to an end at the hands of one of the country’s top teams yesterday in the semifinals of the NJSIAA North 1, Group IV tournament.
Jelani Williams scored on an unassisted goal in the 20th minute for a top-seeded West Orange (20-2-1) which is ranked second in the state and 31st in the nation by ESPN Rise. Thomas Attamante earned the shutout with three saves.
Senior Jesus Amaro was brilliant in net for fourth-seeded Union City (13-6-2). He made 17 saves in the loss.
