Roundup: Rams' Garcia scores 100th
Dickinson's Maxi Garcia eclipsed the 100-goal mark for his career on Saturday
Dickinson 9, Hoboken 0
Senior Maxi Garcia recorded the 100th and 101st goals of his career as No. 5 seed Dickinson rolled past Hoboken in the first round of the Hudson County Tournament on Saturday.
Terrol Ishmael had four goals and an assist for the Rams (11-4) in the win. Khalid Benall, Anthony Oromas and Usman Toure also found the net. Ariel Canales made five saves in the victory.
Jacinto Saenz made seven saves for the Red Wings.
North Bergen 2, McNair 0
The Bruins scored twice in a span of eight minutes to advance past the Cougars in the opening round of the Hudson County Tournament on Saturday.
Diego Yepez delivered on a rebound in the 14th minute to open the scoring and in the 21st minute Willy Cardenas scored on a pass from Steven Zamudio. Jesus Solis made two saves for North Bergen (9-5-2), seeded eighth.
Joe Toegel made 17 saves for the No. 9 seeded McNair in defeat.
