Roundup: Garcia sets tone for Bruins
North Bergen 4, Bayonne 1
Oliver Garcia had a goal and an assist within the first 15 minutes of the game to propel the Bruins past the Bees yesterday in North Bergen. Garcia opened the scoring with his 10th minute goal. Just five minutes later, he assisted on Willy Cardenas’ goal. Garcia added a second assist in the 70th minute.
Wilmer Cuzco and Ricardo Franco also scored goals for North Bergen (8-5-2) and Jesus Solis made two saves in the win. Steven Zamudio added two assists.
John Paul Herrera scored the lone goal for Bayonne (6-9) and Daniel Baez made eight saves.
