Roundup: Bruins down Bulldogs
North Bergen 3, Ferris 1
Willy Cardenas broke a 1-all tie with his goal in the 35th minute to help propel the Bruins past Ferris on Friday in Jersey City. Cesar Ventura assisted on the goal and provided North Bergen (2-1-1) with some added insurance when he scored in the 80th minute.
Steven Zamudio opened the scoring for North Bergen with an unassisted goal from 25 yards out in the sixth minute. The Bulldogs’ Wally Mohammed tied with his goal in the 16th minute.
Jesus Solis made four saves in the victory. Jonathan Bellinger made seven saves in net for Ferris (1-2).
