Hudson Catholic 100, University Charter 58

Junior Reggie Cameron scored his 1,000th career point as the Hawks rolled to their 12th-straight win last night in Jersey City.

Cameron, who became the 10th player in school history to reach the milestone, set the mark with a pair of free throws in the second quarter. He finished with 17 points and 10 rebounds.

Kavon Stewart had a career-high 20 assists and nine steals to help set up his Hudson Catholic (16-2) teammates. Five different Hawks scored in double figures, led by Cameron, Mike Young (16 points, 11 rebounds), Marc Wilson (14 points), Rakwan Kelly (13 points, nine rebounds) and Kyle McLeggan (12 points). Twelve players scored for Hudson Catholic in the victory.

Hineef Adams scored a game-high 23 points to pace the visiting Generals (1-14) and Chinwe Wosu added 19 points in defeat.

Bayonne 74, Hoboken 68

Jonathan Jackson had a double-double as the Bees needed overtime to hold off the Red Wings last night in Bayonne.

Jackson, a senior, had 10 points and 16 rebounds for a Bayonne (12-4) squad, which had four different players score in double figures. Sophomore Quadry Callaway scored a team-high 20 points and Garry Gaston poured in 17 points. Senior tri-captain Steve Betancurth finished with 15 points.

Carlos Garcia was lights out from the perimeter, connecting on five 3-pointers to finish with a game-high 28 points for Hoboken (5-12). Senior Abe Groomes scored 12 points and Anthony Purvis added 11 points in defeat.
