Marist’s Marvin Williams was selected as Player of the Year as the HCIAL coaches recently made their All-League selections.

Williams, who was the Tri-County Hudson Division B Player of the Year last season, averaged 21 points and five rebounds per game this season. The senior helped lead the Royal Knights to an 18-7 record and a trip to the finals of the Hudson County Tournament.

St. Mary’s Tom Lalicato was selected as the league’s Coach of the Year. Lalicato, in his 26th season as head coach, helped lead the Ramblers to an 18-9 record in the school’s final season.

St. Peter’s Prep, the four-time reigning champions, were the big winners with three players on the First Team. Seniors Keith Lumpkin, Kevin Walker and Stephon Whyatt earned the honors for a Marauders team which went 22-6.
