Roundup: Bey scores 21 for Lions

Lincoln's Shamar Bey scored a game-high 21 points and added 11 rebounds.

Lincoln 61, North 13th Street Tech 51

Shamar Bey led all scorers with 21 points as the Lions used big second and third quarters to hold off North 13th Street Tech Saturday in Jersey City. Bey also had 11 rebounds for the double-double.

Lincoln (8-6) also received huge all-around performances from seniors Tre Brooks and Jamall McDaniels. Brooks had 13 points, eight rebounds and six blocks. McDaniels added 17 points, six rebounds, four assists and four steals.

As a team, the Lions had 16 steals, led by five from Zakee Adams and held a 17-point lead after three quarters.

Karriem Sanchez led North 13th Street Tech (9-4) with 15 points and Udarius Muhammed scored 12 points in defeat.
